This year, The Grande Dégustation, the largest annual meeting of wine, beer and spirits enthusiasts in Eastern Canada, pays homage to Champagne, Washington State, Riesling and cocktails—four themes that could not be more fitting as Montreal celebrates its 375th anniversary!
When the organisers asked of this prestigious event asked us to participate, for a second year in a row, we couldn’t help but say a resounding YES! This year, Mobilia will be furnishing the “Mobilia Salon“, a lounge space designed with our favourite velour chairs, Scarlet along with other “lounge-worthy” pieces designed for maximum comfort! Also, we have partnered with Éduc’Alcool to furnish a bistro area within the exhibition itself.
New this year, a free app is now available for download, offering features designed to enhance the visitors’ experience!

SPOTLIGHT ON CHAMPAGNE, WASHINGTON STATE, RIESLING & COCKTAILS
Champagne: As Bubbly as Ever
What could be more appropriate as we celebrate the 375th anniversary of the foundation of Montreal than this festive sparkling wine born from a long-standing tradition of excellence! This year’s edition will be an opportunity to deepen your knowledge and discover new pleasures through this historic, high-quality beverage.
State of the Art
As the second largest premium wine producer in the United States, Washington State offers a wide range of quality wines that delicately balance old world structure with new world fruit. As a youthful wine region, Washington State is consistently ranked among the top wine producing regions in the world.
Riesling: Mythical Pleasure
Mostly grown in cooler regions, the legendary Riesling is a timeless classic that is a pleasure to (re)discover. This late variety forms the basis of a wide range of wines, no wonder it maintains its position as one of the most sought-after choices for any season and any occasion.
Cocktails: The Perfect Mix
With their surprising, spectacular, or simply delicious taste, cocktails have never been so popular! The sprouting of artisan distilleries is a strong indicator of a movement which is embracing current trends.
Cocktail bar: visitors will have the chance to attend fun demonstrations and tastings designed to better master the world of mixology.
