Standing as the first in a series of exercises, Creative Directions for MOBILIA is part of a creative venture which successively entrusts distinguished guests with the creative direction of projects.
Kim Pariseau, founder of APPAREIL Architecture, is first to get the projects rolling — not to mention her imagination. Set on a coral backdrop, this young and talented architect achieves sheer brilliance through this stylistic performance.

With a genuine fondness for Scandinavian design (and having studied in Denmark), Kim has a special love for sleek objects and simple constructions.
LOCAL COLOURS
MOBILIA sets the tone with a coral backdrop. Kim opts for cushions and a few greens boasting a deep yet fresh forest green that acts as a perfect complement, incorporating the intense richness of Quebec and Scandinavian forests.
WOOD WITH PERSONALITY
Building on her unconditional love for raw materials, Kim masters the art of home-grown varieties. Her natural inclination towards elegant side tables carved out of majestic walnut can be seen in many of her architectural projects.
