A multi-functional living space that includes a meeting room and sewing area. The living room and play area for fathers and children at the Maison Oxygène Montréal, one of the main resources of the Carrefour Familial Hochelaga, has also had a makeover thanks to a paint job and the smart redesign of the space by the Mobilia team. A complete makeover undertaken by Shazia Shah, an interior design student at Algonquin College. Helping With Furniture is a charitable organization that distributes furniture and household goods to families who are beginning a new life in Ottawa, especially refugees and new immigrants as well as those leaving situations of abuse and those struggling with mental illness or at risk of homelessness.
